Crumb Cake Christmas

It is NEVER too early to start working on holiday cards in my book. Textures are such an easy and fun way to add pizzazz to any project. One way to do that is through embossing and through ribbon. This is a very simple card but it looks elegant due to the texture, but it can easily be created and mailed in under five minutes. A perfect choice if you are mass producing holiday cards. Here is the recipe:

Don’t forget, you have until October 31 to buy three, get one free on paper! Don’t miss out, order yours today. Click here for details.

Paper Pumpkin

First of all, I apologize that it’s been a few days since I posted. I have a hernia (again) and will be having surgery Nov. 15 so I’ve been dealing with that, my daughter had pneumonia, etc. Life just got nuts! I will be posted early next week the projects we will make for class on October 28. But for now…..I HAVE to show you this cute project from Paper Pumpkin! What is Paper Pumpkin? It’s ideal for people interested in card making but they aren’t that comfortable with their skills just quite yet, or they worry they don’t have the supplies, etc. It’s all sent to you! Paper, inks, stamps and embellishments, along with instructions. It’s sent right to your door each month. It’s super easy, everything is cut, even adhesive is included. Just put the projects together and have fun! It’s a shaker card. I got my kit yesterday and loved it! I already made the cards! Here is a video of how to make November’s project. My daughter is in bed with pneumonia so we made this house this morning. Photos is taken with my cell so I hope it’s clear.  The pencil in the photo give you a sense of the size and how adorable they are! We made a version of this in my October Stamp Class yesterday.  I will share the other projects this week. This was made using:

  • Sweet Home stamp set
  • Spooky Fun stamp set
