CARD: Painted Harvest Thanksgiving

This card features the Painted Harvest stamp set, a wildly popular set in the Holiday catalog, but what I like is the use of the Copper foil paper, ribbon, the patterned paper and the Crushed Curry Baker’s Twine stitching around the sunflower. There are so many yummy textures and colors in this project that you don’t know whether to study it or run your fingers over it. I have to say, this in my top three favorite Thanksgiving cards this year.

CARD: Colorful Seasons Thanksgiving

This card just screams “Fall!!!” to me. From the Woodland Textured Impressions embossed background to the gold foil leaves to the gorgeous ombre leaves, this is the perfect Fall or Thanksgiving card. The leaves are done with a really fun and neat technique featuring baby wipes and drops of ink to create a custom ink pad. I’d love to show it to you sometime, so click here if you’d ever like to set up a demonstration or class in your home. Imagine a fun night with a few friends creating holiday cards. I can’t think of a better way to spend a fun evening!

CARD: Labels to Love Thanksgiving

This card is a nice twist on several products. The stamped greeting is from the Labels to Love stamp set, but it’s punched out with the Everyday Lable punch. If you can tell, the punched out greeting is actually smaller than the actual punch size. It’s a cool technique. Also, the paper circles are actually from the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper as well as Gold Foil sheets and the center of the Metallic Snowflakes from the Holiday Catalog. I like this project because it’s a great example of how you can use your Stampin’ Up! products in many different ways. It’s easy sometimes to think of only using a punch, stamp set or embellishment in one way, but with a little creativity (and Pinterest)  you can get a lot of use out of your supplies. Who doesn’t like that?

CARD: Painted Harvest Thanksgiving

Hands down, one of the most popular stamp sets from the Holiday Catalog is this one, Painted Harvest. It’s so unbelievably versatile, you can use it for any occasion so you get a  lot of use out of this set. The flowers are a two-step stamping process and you are only limited by your imagination as far as color combinations go. I created another card (click here to see it) featuring the Painted Harvest set with a totally different color scheme and look. Same set, two different projects!
