Holiday Catalog Detailed Gate Thinlet Die Friendship Card

Welcome to the Anything but the Holidays blog hop! If you have been following along, you have arrived from Candice Fields’ blog. Wasn’t her project simply wonderful? It’s always tough to follow after a super talented person has blown everyone away with their gifts, so I am hoping my project is up to par! For my project, I wanted to do a friendship card with the Detailed Gate Thinlet die set in the Holiday Catalog

For this project, I used Silver Foil paper for the Detailed Gate Thinlet Dies in the Holiday Catalog and stamped the floral images and the sentiment from the Lovely Friends stamp set in the Annual Catalog. The flowers are stamped in Powder Pink, Blushing Bride and Soft Sky and Marina Mist.  I cut the flowers from the Lovely Laurel Thinlet Dies, which is available with the Lovely Friends stamp set in a bundle for 10% off. The card base is from Powder Pink, one of the newest In Colors, followed by Marina Mist and Whisper White cardstock.  The leaves are from the new Leaf Punch in the Holiday Catalog. I embellished with Basic Pearls and Powder Pink 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon. I decided to tie the card closed with the ribbon.  I wanted something feminine and sparkly for my friendship card, and I hope you like it! Here is the inside of the card:

The Holiday Catalog was release last Friday, September 1 and you can download and view it by clicking here or my emailing me to request a copy be mailed to you. I would love to be your Demonstrator and answer any questions you may have about the products or help you host a Stampin’ Up party to explore all the wonderful new products in the Holiday Catalog.

The next step on the blog hop is Teri Wells . The Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop: Sneak Peek

Welcome to the Blog Hop for May 2017 and Happy Mother’s Day! This month our theme is Sneak Peek. You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Stamptastical.com or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Jen Tribue – Stamptastical.com. My post features a modge podge of several new stamp sets, colors, punches, ribbon, paper and die cuts.

So obviously the theme of this blog hop is Sneak Peek and sharing a small selection of the amazing products that are featured in the upcoming Annual Catalog. This project actually uses two bundles, Lovely Friends and Wood Words. The Lovely Friends bundle has a die set that features a gorgeous laurel die set that raises as you open the card and a matching banner. Here is the inside:

Check back later this week for a video that shows how to put together this card so that the laurel pops up. The sentiment and the lovely laurel inside and the flowers are from Lovely Friends. The wooden crate is from the Wood Words bundle which is too cute for words! That bundle not only includes dies that allow you to cut out and score an adorable crate shaped box, but it also features images and text you can use for labels, for decor, etc. For this project, I just used the crate die cut from that particular bundle.

The Lemon Lime Twist background to the label on the treat holder is our newest punch, the Lovely Label Punch. This project also highlights three of the five newest In Colors – Powder Pink, Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst.  All of these products will be available to order on June 1, so be sure you jot down what you like as you travel through the blog hop and make your wish list! At the end of the blog post, you will find a list of products used.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me and be sure to request a catalog and I’ll drop one in the mail. I would love to be your Demonstrator!

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Remember that currently, you are at my blog –Jen Tribue, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.

Remarkable Ink Big Blog Hop – Retiring 2015-2017 In Color

Welcome to the Blog Hop for April 2017. This month our theme is Retiring 2015-2017 In Colors.  You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Stamptastical.com or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Jen Tribue’s Blog.

Each project in this blog hop is made with the Retiring 2015-2017 In ColorsThese colors will not be available after May 31, so if you have a favorite, now it the time to order or stock up. If you have the ink pads, be sure to order the reinkers because they won’t be available to order after they retire. Stock up on cardstock as well! You can order by clicking here. Below is the Retiring 2015-2017 In Colors palette.

I have some colors that I like more than others in 2015-2017 In Color palette. This card doesn’t show every color, but it has four of the five. The color palette for this project is as follows:

I decided to play with a couple of die sets that are available in the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog which also expires May 31. The flowers were cut using the Flourish Thinlets die set and the sentiment was cut with the Stylish Stems Framelits die set. Finally, I ran some of the Tasty Treats Designer Washi Tape across the top. I was going for clean, simple and elegant, so here’s hoping I hit the mark. The actual sentiment is from a new stamp set that will be featured in the upcoming catalog. I will have more details for you later this week on the exciting announcement from Stampin’ Up, what it means for you and new products.

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Remember that currently, you are at my blog – Jen Tribue at Stamptastical.com, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.

Remarkable Blog Hop – Spring or Easter

Welcome to the Remarkable Blog Hop – Can’t Live Withouts!  If you have just come from Libby’s blog, wasn’t her project amazing??? Tough act to follow, to be sure! One of the Easter stamp sets in the 2017 Occasions catalog that I fell in love with was Easter Message and that is the stamp set I  used for this project, along with paper from the So In Love bundle. I stamped the greeting and the cross im age in Versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I was trying to combine regency (gold, pearls) with simplicity (ribbon, clean design). The cross is actually on vellum paper, in case you can’t tell and the floral patter is the designer series paper showing through. Inside I stamped the sentiment that is in the same stamp set:

Next on the Remarkable Blog Hop is Naurelle Fasulo and be prepared for a treat because her work is stunning! In case you got lost or there is a glitch somewhere, here is a list of all the “stops” on this blog hop:

NEW, NEW, NEW! Occasions and Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop !

Welcome to the RemARKable Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop! If you started earlier in the hop, then you probably came from Narelle Faulo’s page. Wasn’t her project amazing?  Talk about a tough act to follow! This month’s blog hop features the new products in the 2017 Occasions catalog and they are GORGEOUS! The new Occasions Catalog has it all, whatever your creative style, it’s in this catalog. And if that wasn’t awesome enough, it’s Sale-A-Bration! That means when you order the products or bundles you love, you can also qualify for FREE items from the Sale-A-Bration catalog! You might have seen some of those free products in the projects in this blog hop. You never know. If you would like an Occasions Catalog, please email me your address and I will mail you one.

My project is definitely girly! I wish I could show you in person how sparkly the Dazzling Diamonds paper behind the floral die cut really is. I learned that the flash in my camera, bright light and glitter paper don’t always play well together. Anyhoo, this card could easily be a birthday card, a thank you card, or just a hello. It features the So Detailed Thinlets in the Occaisions catalog and the So In Love stamp set and embellishments. Also, great news! The Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies are back and that is what I used to make the circles. If you are looking into getting your first die cut set, I recommend Stitched Shapes because it will give you a variety of squares, circles and ovals for your projects. I embossed a piece of Pink Piroutte cardstock using the Softly Falling Embossing folder. The “flap” is Sweet Sugarplum cardstock die cut using the So Detailed thinlet. A complete list of products used to make this card is below.

Next stop on the RemARKable Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop is Stacey Lane at https://aworkofcarte.com. Just in case you are like me and get “lost,” at the bottom of this post is a complete list of the stops on this Blog Hop so you can just click and go where you need to go. In the meantime, have a Stamptastical day!
