It’s The End of the Sale As We Know It!

Today is the last day of Sale-A-Bration, so if you have had your eye on a Sale-A-Bration stamp set or paper or ribbon, this is your last day to earn it for free. Tomorrow they are gone forever, and some of the Sale-A-Bration products are already sold out.

One of my favorite Sale-A-Bration stamp sets is the Delicate Details lace patterned stamps. This is a card made using one of the lace borders from the Delicate Details stamp set as well as a sentiment from the Designer Tee stamp set (Sale-A-Bration) and Sale-A-Bration ribbon. This year’s selection of free products to choose from has been fantastic! We are sad to see them go after today, so if you have a favorite, order now

I apologize for my lack of posts this week but my father was ill and I felt I could do more good helping them than posting here but I truly missed the creativity and sharing my love of stamping with you all. I promise to be full steam ahead next week with an upcoming class sample, Easter projects, a video and exciting announcements from Stampin’ Up!

Video: Cupcake & Carousel Pop and Twist Card

Watch Video Preview of Cupcake & Carousel Suite Pop and Twist Card

Pop and twist cards are all the rage in Stampin’ Up so I thought I’d give it a try  with the Cupcakes & Carousels Suite and  I was so excited about the result that I had to make a video and share!  This isn’t a “quick” card but it’s so worth the effort. The stamped images, the Designer Series Paper, the ribbon and the embellishments all come from the Cupcakes & Carousels Suite in the 2017 Occasions Catalog. I love, love, love this suite and there are so many ways you can use these products. As an added bonus, the Up & Away thinlets dies that typically go with the Lift Me Up bundle in the same catalog work perfectly to cut out the cupcaStamptastical Pop and Twist card inside viewkes from the Carousel Birthday stamp set. Isn’t that clever? And don’t forget, if you order $50 worth of product by March 31st, you qualify for a FREE item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog! Scroll down a bit to see a quick video of this card in action!

Carousel Birthday

I feel like I say this about every stamp set in the brand spankin’ new 2017 Occasions Catalog, but THIS set is definitely one of my favorites. It actually is a whole suite of products, stamps, paper, and embellishments with matching cardstock and markers. You can’t go wrong or overcomplicate it with the Cupcakes and Carousels Suite. It’s carnival imagery with a vintage flair and I just love it! I used two types of embossing on this card, heat and dry. I heat embossed the carousel house in gold embossing powder, then watercolor in the saddle and blanket and I dried embossed the card front using an embossing folder and the Big Shot machine. The beauty of Stampin’ Up is that it’s sooo easy to color coordinate. They have colors for ink that have matching cardstock and patterned paper that matches and you pull it all together and it works beautifully! This is a swap card I made and I will be sharing some of the cards I received from the amazing and talented demonstrators that shared their projects with me along with  links to their blogs in the upcoming weeks. For now, the supplies are listed below and  have a Stamptastical Day!
